When shopping for a new carpet the process can seem daunting. The style, color and fiber you select should reflect who you are, your taste and lifestyle. It’s a major investment after all and one you will enjoy for 5 to 10 years or more. So let’s get started.

STYLE “Twist” carpets offer great

For ease of care and a more modern flair, a “PATTERN” style carpet typically combines both cut & loop textures. If you like a carpet with that “perfect look”, consider “Saxony”. These are excellent for formal areas, an even a master suite. “Plush” on the other hand is great for living rooms as well as bedrooms. Most of us love the look of a luxurious

plush carpet.

COLOR When it comes to color keep in mind that it’s always easier and less costly to change a paint color than a whole room of carpet! Should it be the accent or just the back drop? How does it work in your environment? Look at the carpet in natural and artificial light at different times of the day. Will it highlight your other accents and furnishings? Make sure you really love that color!
