Eldredge Lumber provides sharpening services as well as repair services for your power tools and we’ve even added a Dumpster Service.
In 2002, Eldredge Lumber & Hardware added Ace Rental Place to our growing business establishment. The products and services in our Ace Rental Department are what people come to expect when dealing with Eldredge: reliability, top product performance and an experienced staff to answer your questions.
Is your equipment/tool broken? Eldredge Lumber & Hardware offers all major tool brands, including but not limited to: DeWalt, Porter Cable, Makita, Bostitch, Senco, and Milwaukee.

RENTAL REQUIREMENTS: A credit card and proper ID or In- House account is required to rent our equipment. A rental agreement must be signed before any equipment is rented.
RENTAL HOURS: A full day rental is 24 hours with the exception of metered equipment. A full day rental for metered equipment is 8 hours. Hourly rates are charged at a 2 hour minimum. A 4 hour rental is either AM or PM and must be picked up and returned the same day during regular rental business hours. Equipment is charged for time out, not time used.
PICK UP & DELIVERY: Delivery services are available. Factoring in distance, rates start at $30 per trip. Eldredge does not provide trailers. If you are picking up equipment that requires a trailer, please ensure you bring one with you. Eldredge offers some tow behind equipment. Please be sure you have the correct hitch for these pieces or we will be happy to deliver it for you.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Extras that are needed for rented equipment are available for purchase. Listed prices do not include these extras. The extras that are purchased for use with rented equipment become the sole property of the purchaser and should be removed before returning the equipment. Eldredge cannot be responsible for extras left on equipment after it is returned. Please be sure that equipment is cleaned before it is returned. If an item is returned unclean, a maintenance fee will be imposed of $60/Hour with a minimum of 1 hour.
EQUIPMENT UPDATES: It is our goal to provide our customers with a wide variety of equipment to rent. With that said, we are constantly purchasing new equipment. If you do not see what you are looking for, please call us for updates that may not be listed in this brochure.

The History of Eldredge
From its humble 'true New Englander' beginnings, the Eldredge family of companies has grown into a leading supplier of building and home supplies. Founded in 1937 when Wolfrett "Wolf" Eldredge, grandfather to current owner Scott Eldredge, began marketing lumber salvaged from the demolition of the massive Passaconaway Inn, a 19th century Cape Neddick summer resort hotel.
